With competitive pricing
and professional service, Feathers and Fletchings are the number one
choice for Leader Training across the U.K.
About the Leader Course
Leaders teach
beginners to shoot, mainly in activity holiday centres, sports centres,
educational establishments and youth organisations. The award is
primarily intended for use out-with the Grand National Archery Society
and is available to both members and non-members of the society.
Candidates for the award, who must be a minimum of 17 years of age on
the day of assessment, will be trained and assessed by accredited
coaches of the society. Previous experience of archery is not a
pre-requisite.
Course duration will
be a minimum of 25 hours. It is recommended that the course be conducted
over two sessions of two days each, from one to four weeks apart with
the final day of the course being reserved for the assessment. This
arrangement allows time for trainees to assimilate the imparted
information and to practise their personal skills.
